I can really relate to this quote.  Finding wildflowers in the forest has become one of my favorite hunts in our photography adventures.  It is a dream come true, to be able to live amongst (and capture) such pure natural beauty.

From May of 2023, this photo depicts a White Trillium growing wild in Northeast Michigan’s Huron National Forest Hoist Lake Trail.  After many different attempts at capturing this type of flower, I finally have one I am really happy with.  I really feel the overall softness in this image – the background (thanks to the lens mostly), the soft sunlight spilling onto a small area of the forest floor, the ethereal white petals – really all come together to be an apt amalgamation of what I was hoping to capture.
