This photograph was taken on July 16, 2019 of Scott Falls in Munising, Michigan, and I (Jess) have never loved any edit of it… until now. As an artist, there are times when our artwork speaks to us, and other times when the artwork withholds itself from us until a more appropriate time. I find this to be true too, of God and the way He reveals Himself to us in His time. This photograph of Scott Falls is truly dreamy, and I feel I have finally achieved the final look of being dreamy with my editing. While looking for a quote to accompany this photo, I stumbled upon the song quote from Disney’s “Sleeping Beauty”, and I felt it was quite appropriate for this image. The reason being that I took it so long ago, it is as if I knew it only once upon a dream, before the dream manifested itself into what you see today. I truly hope you enjoy this artwork!
