Description

“Little Skyscrapers”

“The world is a skyscraper! Don’t always stay on the same floor! Go upstairs, go downstairs; visit the lives of other tenants! Visit eagles; visit mushrooms!”

– Mehmet Murat ildan

Jess noticed this scene from October, 1 as we were taking our time along the Reid Lake Foot Travel Area path. Definitely worth taking a moment to get down and visit the lives of these particular forest residents.  Those leaves aren’t very big, these shrooms are tiny!

I believe these are Marasmius rotula or, Collared Parachute.  Though, I could be wrong.  The stems don’t perfectly match up to the photos I’ve seen.  But, that is by far the closest I could find.  Feel free to let me know one way or the other in the comments, if you happen to know.

We hope you enjoy this moment of peace and respite as much as we did in making it!

Available in all of our popular formats! And, of course, custom options available upon request.
