This picture was taken on one of our first trips into the amazing Porcupine Mountains State Park! I simply love the forests here, and the red earth that is found throughout the park. It is one of the most serene places that I’ve ever been in this huge world of ours. I don’t remember which trail this was unfortunately (it was taken several years ago), but it still remains a beautiful reminder of the stunning nature that is in the Porkies.
