Description
Little Sable Point Lighthouse is one of our absolute favorite lighthouses found throughout Michigan. It is also a great spot to capture star trails with a lighthouse in the foreground. This picture was captured back in 2014, and won second place in The Detroit News’ photo contest the following year. (I have the newspaper clipping somewhere… lol) This photo was re-edited with all the techniques I have learned over the years since I captured this work of art. (I have the original canvas hanging up in my bedroom right now.) And, with this new edit, I’m much happier with how things turned out. The sky is more vibrant and there is far less noise in the picture because I didn’t pull the shadows as much as I originally did. You can actually see the original edit here: Little Sable Point Lighthouse Original Edit.
