“Even The Fallen Can Stand Tall”
Love is like a tree, it grows of its own accord, it puts down deep roots into our whole being.
Not too far from our house, is a beautiful trail in the Huron National Forest which features some old growth forest. While it’s not “Virgin Forest”, it has been left untouched long enough to have progressed into old growth status, and the result is simply magical.
This image depicts a scene from this trail… Here’s a brilliant sunlit shoot of life from a bent over maple tree. The tree is arching over a part of the Hoist Lake footpath heading toward Byron Lake. It looked like an older, larger tree had taken down this youngster. However, it still pushes upward with it’s growth despite being bent over.
Life can be so resilient! We can all learn so much about sheer perseverance form the forest.
