“Golden Marsh Sunset”
“O, Sunlight! The most precious gold to be found on Earth.”
– Roman Payne
Jess prodded me at just the right time, to check on the Marsh for this photo. We were hanging around in the woods near the marsh, waiting to see if a sunset would happen, when Jess got a feeling to check on the light. I’m sure glad she did, because a bunch of clouds had moved in on the horizon, and only this window was left open for the sunshine to come through. Seeing this, Jess hurried me along, and kept our dogs entertained, so I could capture this beautiful scene on the Reid Lake trailhead in the Huron National Forest. The sunlight here, reminded me greatly of a time when Jess and I visited Colorado, and was able to see sunbeams washing over the fields of Moraine Meadows in the Rocky National Park.
We hope you love this scene as much as we do.
