“Cedar Tree Close Up”
“I Can Pass Days
Stretch’d In The Shade Of Those Old Cedar Trees,
Watching The Sunshine Like A Blessing Fall,
The Breeze Like Music Wandering O’er The Boughs,
Each Tree A Natural Harp,
each Different Leaf
A Different Note, Blent In One Vast Thanksgiving.”– Letitia Elizabeth Landon
Once in a while, I like to try to take a portrait of a tree, or whatever I happen to see on the trails while hiking, to really capture that living beings’ soul, if you will. Who knows if I ever succeed, but I truly enjoy this portrait of a cedar tree while I was enjoying some time at Rockport State Park in Alpena Michigan.
We hope you love this scene as much as we do.
