Jess and Jeff are passionate Fine Art Landscape & Nature Photographers in MI. Their Michigan Photography journey began back in 2012 shortly after the wedding of Jessica and Jeffrey. As a wedding gift, Jess bought Jeff his first “serious” digital camera. Up until then, he had been using film and honestly had fallen away from photography almost entirely.
Long-story, short, Jess was highly intrigued and often “borrowed” the camera she had bought Jeff. This ultimately required Jeff to buy her one of her own. Once they were both “armed” with a good dSLR, their adventure together in photography was born!
For many years, they both dedicated much of their efforts in life to learning the art of photography. And their friendly competitive nature has driven their desire to improve and “one-up” each other as they compare shots after each of their adventures. Truly, they love most all forms of photography – but photographing Michigan’s landscape, nature, and cityscapes is where the deepest passion lies. They both simply love giving glory to God’s creation by creating artwork from the scenes they enjoy together.
Individual photography styles are what makes them unique.
Jess tends to gravitate toward more intimate storytelling. Using depth of field and compression to isolate certain elements of nature & landscapes in the world around her. Jeff tends to focus on capturing broader landscape and cityscape scenes. Of course there are many exceptions to this rule. But together, they have created a unique dichotomy which fully compliments one another. This site is a demonstration of this body of work which is dedicated to creating a lasting legacy of their work together.

Also, recently, they were blessed with a feature in the online publication Voyage Michigan. And, of course Jess & Jeff will always be grateful for their feature in Peerspace as well as the other small independent photography magazines and calendars throughout the years. Each time has been so very humbling and each person they’ve worked with together has been a huge blessing in their lives.
It is the little things like this which help keep them working in the business side of things.
